I've just finished making 200 custom holiday cards! Whew! Did I make any money? I don't think so but the way I look at it, it's 200 new people who will see my work. Look at it as an investment in marketing.
I knew I was offering a very sweet price but there are a few reasons for it.
- They were for my sisters.
- Like I stated before, an investment in marketing.
- I wasn't really sure how much it was going to cost when I priced them.
- It's my first holiday season in this business.
- At least it wasn't a total loss.
We all learn through doing and I'm hoping that next year will bring me and all that I know much success. Hey, it can't be as bad as 2009!
